Our task > With sales of new cars ‘ticking over nicely’ Preston Motors required a dedicated company web site - over and above their presence on the main Skoda web site - to more aggressively promote their used car portfolio.
Our solution > MC+Co built a client-managed, data-driven web site that showcases the dealership's popular stock of new and used models. Our recommendation was to move away from Yellow Pages - where the majority of their marketing budget was being allocated with little, if any, return - to Google Pay Per Click and Search Engine Optimisation.
The result > Preston Motors received an early rush of sales enquiries and have elevated online marketing to one of their key sales generators. In the first nine months they received over 18,000 web site visits - 13,000 of which have been delivered directly through Google Pay Per Click advertising. Most importantly, they're averaging 5 used car sales per week.
Preston Motors are also now achieving page one positions in the natural search listings for a wide range of their target keywords - all as a result of our search engine friendly web design.
More recently, further PPC activity, press advertising and direct marketing promoting the Government’s ‘Scrappage Scheme’ through Preston Motors has seen new car sales go through the roof.
